Chateau Musar is the pioneer of Lebanese winemaking, and if you are yet to try it, you should! There is nothing that can be likened to the extraordinary aromas and flavours these wines embody - the character and complexity is remarkable, not to mention the vast ageing potential. Gaston Hochar planted the first vines of Musar in 1930 after returning from a trip to Bordeaux, and links with the region have been strengthened ever since. In 1984 Gaston's son Serge was the first man to be nominated Decanter Magazine's 'Man of the Year' for 'his dedication to producing superb wines throughout Lebanon's Civil War (1975-1990).' We are pleased to offer a selection from the estate including some wonderful magnums!
