After a few questionable offerings in the past, the wines of Austria and Germany are on top form and just getting better. There are exciting new producers springing up all the time as well as the ledgendary names of Joh. Jos. Prüm, Haag, Loosen, Schloss Gobelsberg and Bründlmayer. They provide an exciting opportunity for food and wine pairing whether it be a 1976 Mosel Riesling or a spritely Wachau Gruner Veltliner from the slopes of the Danube.
