Alsace

The aesthetically beautiful medieval region of Alsace is situated to the east of France in the shadow of the Vosges Mountains. With a somewhat confused identity, as it was for a long time in the clasps of Germany, Alsace is home to an array of aromatic whites, most famously Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris.
